Sumner County, Tennessee, is not only rich in American history, but it’s also deeply rooted in musical heritage, vibrant local dining, and unique small businesses. My work with Sumner County Tourism was incredibly fulfilling, giving me the chance to collaborate across multiple communities to produce the county’s annual Visitors Guide, a flagship publication highlighting the best of Sumner County. Over several years, I designed both the main guide and the accompanying Shopping and Dining Guides, creating cohesive, engaging pieces that supported the county’s broader tourism marketing strategy.
With Sumner County positioned just north of Nashville and thriving as a tourism destination, each project offered an exciting opportunity to design for the place where I live, work, and play—while also deepening my own knowledge of the area. It’s no surprise that legendary artists like the Oak Ridge Boys, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Taylor Swift, and many others have called Sumner County home.
Through thoughtful publication design, creative layout, and brand-consistent visual storytelling, these guides celebrate the culture, history, and experiences that make Sumner County such a compelling destination.
